PFEIFER Wire Rope & Lifting Technology Inc. is wholly owned by the family run PFEIFER group, Germany. The administration and sales headquarter is located in Hampton, Virginia. Hampton has a warehouse specialized in  the complete range of crane and industrial ropes and the full range of machines for handling wire ropes and terminations. All wire rope terminations, the tools and relevant dies are made in Germany by PFEIFER and guarantee a perfect match and the highest performance and safety. PFEIFERs rope competence team members are working to solve customer problems through inspection of wire ropes and analysis of spooling systems.

The new service center in the north of Houston, Texas provides sales and service to customers in the Gulf Coast Area. The warehouse reflects the needs of the area and stocks, besides the standard range of mobile crane replacement ropes and the terminations, bigger diameter ropes for the offshore instustry. It is also equipped with the necessary machines and tools for fabrication and provides service to the regional customers.

    As supplier to the LIEBHERR group since decades, PFEIFER has a strong experience with high performance ropes on mobile cranes and supplies rope of highest quality for the safe, troublefree operation in the most demanding sites like wind mill erection. The selection of wire ropes is based on a groupwide database of applications and experiences and the wire rope property benchmark value determined by PFEIFER’s R&D center. PFEIFER is the exclusive service partner for the application of new terminations to hoist and boom hoist ropes of LIEBHERR, TEREX and GROVE mobile cranes. This service is offered nationwide at any location, where the crane is operating. 
  • Brands
    In the crane rope business, PFEIFER is the strategic partner and exclusive distributor of german made DIEPA wire ropes, the producer of wire ropes with the highest quality and lifetime available. PFEIFER supplies additional brands of wire ropes depending on the application, requested performance and economical price. The majority of the wire ropes supplied are produced in Germany or Europe. All ropes are produced according PFEIFERs strict tolerance and quality standards. PFEIFER DRAKO is our own high-end brand for the mining industry.
